CASA kliniek Rotterdam

Rotterdam is an industrious city where the motto is:  “Less talk, more action.” IIts port is one of the largest and most important in the world. RThe city stands on the New Meuse, one of the rivers in a delta formed by the rivers Rhine and Meuse. Much of Rotterdam was bombed during the Second World War, and post-war reconstruction has since made it a city of modern architecture.

How to get there

The CASA Rotterdam clinic is located in the ‘Verzamelgebouw Zuid’ business centre (second floor) opposite Zuidplein shopping centre.

Public transport

Public transport from Amsterdam Airport Schiphol to Rotterdam Central railway station

Trains run between 7 a.m. and midnight, at least 3 times an hour. This is a direct connection. Tickets are available from the ticket office or a ticket machine. A single ticket costs about €11. The journey with an intercity train to Rotterdam Central station takes approx. 50 min. On arrival you can take an underground train/metro to Zuidplein.

Public transport from Rotterdam Central railway station

Go out of the station at the main entrance, following the signs to the metro (10 min.’ walk). Take the metro towards Slinge. The journey takes about 10 min. Get out at the Zuidplein stop. Walk through the shopping centre to the Burger King exit (10 min.’ walk). CASA Rotterdam is diagonally opposite the shopping centre, in a large building on the other side of the road.

Note: important public transport information travelling to CASA Kliniek Rotterdam: 

On and around Zuidplein in Rotterdam there will be no use of the metro for one week from Monday, February 27. You can use shuttle buses between the metro stations Maashaven and Zuidplein and from Tuesday to Sunday, March 5th between Zuidplein and Slinge. The shuttle runs every two minutes.

Your own transport

Driving from Den Haag (A13) or Utrecht (A12)

Go onto the A20 Ring Rotterdam Oost towards Breda/Dordrecht.

Follow Ring Rotterdam. After the Van Brienenoord bridge, take the A15 Ring Rotterdam (towards Europoort).

At the Vaanplein intersection, take exit 19a towards Zuidplein/Ahoy. ** Drive straight on towards Zuidplein. At the 4th traffic lights turn right towards Ikazia Hospital. Then turn left into the Zuidplein/Strevelsweg car park. This is paid parking. (NB: in Rotterdam you can only pay for parking with a chip card, so please talk to the clinic beforehand about other options for parking your car.)

Driving from Dordrecht (A16)

Take the A15 Ring Rotterdam (towards Europoort).

At the Vaanplein intersection, take exit 19a towards Zuidplein/Ahoy. ** Follow the route above from here.
