How to get there

Public transport

Public transport from Amsterdam Airport Schiphol to Leiden Central railway station

Trains run between 7 a.m. and midnight, at least 5 times an hour. Tickets are available from the ticket office or a ticket machine. A single ticket costs about €6. The journey takes approx. 25 min. On arrival, take one of the buses below to CASA Leiden. (Taxi €8,00)

Take the ‘Centrumzijde’ station exit. The buses are outside the station on the right-hand side. Take one of the buses mentioned above. Get off at the ‘Korevaarstraat’ stop – it’s just a 5-min. ride. It is a 4-min. walk from the bus stop to Lammenschansweg 15.

At the Korevaarstraat bus stop

Walk along Korevaarstraat, passing Catherijnenstraat on your left. Go over the bridge at Jan van Houtkade. On the other side of the water, after passing Zoeterwoudse Singel, follow a slight bend in the road to the right to reach the Lammenschansweg. After roughly 100 metres, on the corner of Bloemistenlaan, the building on your right is where you’ll find CASA Leiden. Once within the building take the elevator or staircase to the 3rd floor.

Your own transport

Driving from Amsterdam/Amersfoort – The Hague/Rotterdam 

Go on the A4 from Amsterdam/Amersfoort towards The Hague (Den Haag).

Go on the A4 from The Hague/Rotterdam towards Amsterdam.

Take exit 7 (Zoeterwoude-Dorp/Leiden/Zoetermeer).

At the end of the exit go on the N206/Europaweg towards Voorschoten/Leiden.

** Go over the bridge at the big crossroads and then turn right towards Leiden Centrum (Lammenschansweg). Follow this road for approx. 1 km (don’t go over the 50 km per hour speed limit as there are regular checks here). You’ll see a church on your right. Take the first left after the church (Lorentzkade) and immediately turn into the parallel service road on the right. CASA Leiden is in the building approx. 100 m further down on your left, on the corner of Bloemistenlaan.

Driving from Utrecht

Go on the N11 towards The Hague (Den Haag).  

Turn left onto the A4 at the end of the N11. Keep to the right.

Take exit 7 (Zoeterwoude-Dorp/Leiden/Zoetermeer).

Turn right at the end of the exit. At the traffic lights turn left towards Leiden (N206/Europaweg). Over the bridge at the large cross point u will head right in the direction of Leiden Centrum (Lammenschansweg).** Follow the route above from here.

 

Driving from Wassenaar, Katwijk, Noordwijk or the bulb-growing area (Bollenstreek)

From Katwijk go on the N206 towards Leiden.

From Wassenaar/Noordwijk/Bollenstreek go on the A44 towards Leiden.

Take exit 8 (Leiden).

At the end of the exit go on the N206/Plesmanlaan towards Utrecht. Keep driving straight for 1.5 km. On your left you’ll past the LUMC hospital (Leids Universitair Medisch Centrum). Follow the road to the right as it becomes Morssingel and, further along in a slight bend to the right, Morsweg. Turn left into Rijnzichtstraat, left again into Haagweg and right into Witte Singel. This will become Zoeterwoudsesingel after 1.2 km. Turn right into Lammenschansweg and immediately enter the parallel service road in a slight bend on the right. After roughly 100 m, on the corner of Bloemistenlaan, the building on your right is where you’ll find CASA Leiden. Entering the building go to the third floor, either take the stairs on your right handside or take the elevator.

There is plenty of free parking in the area.
